According to the agreement entered into between China Beijing International Mining Exchange Co. Ltd (hereinafter referred to as CBMX) and Beijing Iron Ore Trading Center Corporation (hereinafter referred to as COREX), the business of China Iron Ore Spot Trading Platform owned and operated by CBMX will be transferred to COREX.
After the transfer, COREX will continue operating the China Iron Ore Spot Trading Platform previously operated by CBMX.  CBMX shall assist its members to transfer their membership to COREX.

Beijing Iron Ore Trading Center Corporation (hereinafter referred to as COREX) is established by 13 shareholders, including China Iron and Steel Association, China Beijing Equity Exchange, Baoshan Iron & Steel, Angang Group, Shougang Group, Hebei Iron & Steel Group, China National Minerals, Sinochem International, CITIC Metal, Vale, BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, and FMG.  It is a joint venture company approved by Beijing Municipal Government and relevant regulatory authorities, and is registered in Beijing.
The business scope of COREX is providing spot trading services of mineral products including iron ore (excluding import and export business), market management services and business consulting services.
